Juniper Publishers - Defining Cyborg Intelligence for Medical and Super-Human Domains

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research   Keywords Keywords: Engineered; Electro-Mechanical Artificial; Cybernetics; Bionic Devices; Medical Robotics Short Communication First get to know what is a Cyborg? It's an organism that has both organic (“natural” GOD made) and cybernetic ("machine” Electro-Mechanical Artificial and Man Made) parts engineered, implemented and cascaded in Human body for Biological medical assistance or to change ordinary human potentials, capacities and intelligence to super or ultra-power levels. In other words, when people become Cyborg, they're part human and part machine. Below diagram clear the seen in depth. In above Figure 1 (model I) split further Cyborg Intelligence into two domains as Medical Domain and Super Power Domain. The first domain Cybernetics organs are needful, but the second domain is completely desired of mankind to give exceptional abilities to body a...

Juniper Publishers - Special Design of Heavy Mass Base Foundations Methods in Rocks and Clay Soil Sub-Surfaces Techniques

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research Abstract These paper constitute consists of parts of foundations design of under and sub structural plans. First of all, foundations are the lowest artificially prepared parts of the structures which are in direct contact with ground surfaces are known as Foundations. But its different categories for the zones of ground ability. Most of the foundations are normal status and load distribution neutralizations in normal bearing values of depends upon the soils. But rocks and clay soil zones areas not suited for normal sub structural design methods. Its followed by high precious design sections and execute the better results. And followed design methods is used for high precious focus in mountain and steep constructions, Water-bearing area, it's also better suitable in heavy constructions mass base foundation methods of high rise buildings system. Keywords: Rock boring; Grout hole; Anchorage bolting systems; Mass base trape...

Juniper Publishers - Impact of oxidative metabolism on the production of ATP

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research Abstract Antoine Lavoisier (1743-1794) announced the modern concepts of metabolism including thermodynamic distinctions were refined recognizing the type of fuel oxidation and passing through almost 150 years before the creation of metabolic biochemistry. The cells in the body require an energy system in order to remain alive and reproduce themselves. The body needs substrates as carbohydrates and fats from the food. These energy substrates are oxidized by the cell, producing energy. Both respiration as combustion, the difference between the energy loss of glucose and fat oxidation is often refers to combustion efficiency. In addition, there are discussed situations that differentiate the use of glucose and lipids to produce ATP. Keywords: Oxidative metabolism; Fuel oxidation; Metabolic biochemistry; Cell; Producing energy; Glucose; Fat oxidation Introduction Antoine Lavoisier (1743-1794) annou...

Juniper Publishers - Plant Density and Irrigation Regime Have an Interactive Effect on Common Bean Seed Quality

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research   Abstract Dry beans ( Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are known to be a significant source of protein, fibre, vitamins, and minerals. However, poor access to improved quality seeds, water stress and poor agronomic practices have led to low productivity for smallholder farmers in South Africa. The study used three certified dry bean seed cultivars (Mtata, Malelani, and Gadra). A standard germination test, water activity and seed moisture content were determined each replicated three times. Pre and post-harvest germination tests were conducted simultaneously with Germination Velocity Index (GVI) and Mean Germination Time (MGT). A field trial was designed as a split plot where rain-fed and irrigation treatments were the main plots within which the three cultivars were planted at three densities (low, medium and high). Seed quality of the certified seed lot showed a significant difference between cultivars. Mtata had an aver...

Juniper Publishers - Solubility and Toxicity Level of Monascus Pigments

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research Abstract Research on Monascus pigments (MPs) has been progressing very rapidly. The progresses include the discovery of new pigments and methods used for isolating and identifying the new pigments. Currently, nearly fifty-seven new pigments have been found as derivations of the six main pigments existed. The process of new pigments discovery is unable to separate from that of fermentation or isolation process. In several new pigments, there was no complete information relating to solubility and level of toxicity. This research covers data of all fifty-seven new pigments including color, molecular weight, water solubility, log Kow (octanol-water partition coefficient), and baseline toxicity level by Ecological Structure Activity Relationships (ECOSAR) Program. These results are expected to give more comprehensive data about Monascus pigments. Keywords: Monascus pigments; Solubility; Toxicity; Ecosar ...

Juniper Publishers - Effect of Operational Conditions on Performance of Deep Sand Filter in Turbidity Removal

Image
Trends in Technical & Scientific Research Abstract In this study, laboratory pilot plant was constructed to study the performance of deep sand filter in water treatment. Sand was used as a filtration media under different filtration rates ranged from 4 m/hr to 8 m/hr. Down flow was applied to the filter through sand media with size of 0.7-1.0 mm, while sand depth was changed from 80 cm to 140 cm. The used synthetic turbid water was prepared in different turbidity levels varying from 10 to 30 NTU. Aluminum sulfate (alum) was used as coagulant in different doses varied from 20 to 40 mg/l. Turbidity removal and head loss were investigated as functions of sand depth, filtration rate, alum dose and influent turbidity. From analysis of the experimental results, it was found that the changing of operational conditions (changing media depth, filtration rate, alum dose and influent turbidity) have significant impact on the turbidity removal efficiency, head loss and ripen...
